Annual Summer Fayre at The Manor House Whickham

Residents, their families and friends all had a great time at the recent Summer Fayre held at The Manor House Whickham.

There were some great raffle prizes, stalls from the local area, a Tombola, a lovely bake sale, live music from Christine Rosemond and an Ice Cream Van.

The weather was perfect which meant that everyone could enjoy sitting out in the newly extended garden and enjoy their cakes and ice creams.

Jane Tworkowski, Home Manager, said “it was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves and having fun. Our Activities Co-ordinators did a great job of putting it all together and, having lovely sunshine too, just made the whole day extra special and we have had lots of positive feedback from relatives on what a fantastic afternoon it was”.
